Modern day replica of the third shirt worn during the season when Milan won the Super Cup with a 3-1 victory over Sevilla and finished 5th in Serie A after a disappointing campaign. This design was worn in the Champions League tie away to Benfica in the group stage. Pirlo joined Milan in 2001 from arch-rivals Inter. Pirlo would stay with Milan for 10 seasons, making 401 appearances for the club, scoring 41 times before leaving for Juventus in 2011
